CSP UBA ADAMS: TRANSFORMING NIGERIA POLICE AND SECURING LAGOS COMMUNITIES

In the realm of law enforcement, CSP Uba Adams has emerged as a beacon of professionalism, reshaping the narrative of the Nigeria Police Force and instilling a sense of security in the communities under his watch. Appointed as the Officer-in-Charge of the CP Crack Squad, Gbagada Lagos Command in 2024, Adams has undeniably played a pivotal role in revitalizing the command’s effectiveness against criminal elements.

Adams, a distinguished senior police officer, operates under the guidance of CP Fayoade Adegoke, a seasoned professional known for his sterling qualities. Since assuming office, Uba Adams has not only lived up to but exceeded expectations, earning the admiration and respect of his colleagues and the communities he serves.

Hailing from the royal lineage as the Prince of Shiroro in Niger State, Adams boasts a remarkable track record as a crime buster par excellence. His proactive approach and strategic deployment of resources have forced criminal elements to either reform their ways or face the consequences of the crack squad’s extensive operations throughout Lagos.

CSP Uba Adams commenced his journey in law enforcement after graduating from Imo State University with a B.Sc. in Economics. Enlisted into the police force on August 15, 2002, as a Cadet Inspector (Course 36), he has traversed various commands, consistently leaving a positive impact.

His career milestones include heading the Anti-Robbery Squad, code-named “Hawk Squad,” in Imo State and leading a unit of mobile men in Rivers State during the height of militancy. Adams was instrumental in restoring peace to local government areas affected by communal clashes and played a vital role in resolving the herdsmen crisis in Niger State.

Noteworthy is his tenure as Officer-in-Charge of SARS during the cattle rustlers and herdsmen crisis. Further demonstrating his commitment, Adams underwent a Special Course on anti-terrorism and other violent crimes in Enugu, adding another feather to his cap as he rose to the rank of SP.

His gallantry and success in Ogun State as Squadron Commander of Mopol 48 earned him a transfer to Rivers Command, where he held pivotal roles in the Anti-Cultism unit and SARS in Kano State Command. Recognized for his achievements, Adams was transferred to Zone-2 Onikan Lagos, where he spearheaded the Zonal Monitoring Unit.

Under his leadership in the Monitoring Unit, Adams orchestrated significant arrests, including dismantling a syndicate involved in stealing and transferring funds through SIM cards, capturing suspected herdsmen responsible for multiple kidnappings, and bringing to justice those involved in the murder of Chief Ignatius Odunukwe.

Presently serving in Lagos Command, CSP Uba Adams continues to make the state a no-go-area for criminals, earning accolades and awards from reputable organizations for his unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to law enforcement.
